Nice flicker shot...they have such beautiful feathers...have found a bunch while walking dogs in the morning and have yet to tie with them...

Hey you lava lovers. I used to live within sight of that. Sometimes you could see the red glow in the sky from our house. I've walked on it so fresh you could smell the soles of your shoes.
There is more than one photographer on the Big Island that makes his living on lava pics alone.
I talked to one that has a arrangement with a helicopter service to come pick him up when something new happens so he can be the first with the pics.
