considering what we know of Coach Kelly I expect Blount has had to work very hard at whatever "rules" were imposed upon him. He is not yet cleared to play Saturday. The UofO has yet to send a plan for reinstatment to the PAC10 and ntohing will occur until the plan is recd and acted upon. He had been working with the scout team during practices. This week his job is to run in the manner of Toby Gerheart who is Stanford's bruiser running back. Last week he did something similar. So, it appears that he is working hard. That is public knowledge but that is it, there is little else available to the public.

Do we need him? It does not appear that we do. The other running backs and the qb are tearing things up just fine. I wonder if his insertion into the playing cycle would upset things or complement them.

I think if he is brought back "big if" it will be in a very limited capacity. Think 4th and 1, 3rd and a few, goal line stands and such. I don't expect him to be thrown in on every play, or every set of downs. I think he will be put in as more of a defensive distraction than a offensive tool. At this point in our season I think that is the best way to utilize him if they bring him back.
